MultiReview: Jung & Walker CARIBBEAN MANGO PEPPER SAUCE
By DK | February 24, 2010

INGREDIENTS: Water, Scotch Bonnet peppers, Mango Nectar, Onion, Pineapple, Banana Peppers, Sugar Cane Vinegar, Garlic, Honey, Citrus Juice, Spices, Salt
Mullet Scott:
So, this is my first review on TTF. Actually its my first review ever so let the fun begin. I’m reviewing a bottle of “Caribbean Mango Pepper Sauce”. It is a sauce out of Canada made by Jung and Walker INC. As I look at the bottle and the ingredients I’m thinking its going to be a sweet fruity flavored sauce like any other Mango type sauce. I opened the bottle and took a big whiff of the sauce and the major aroma is garlic. I can smell all the other ingredients in there but garlic was the most prominent. Also thank you for NOT putting on one of those bottle stoppers. I always take em off because I want the sauce to come out of the bottle with no problems. The sauce is not to thin and not to thick with a nice light orange color. Its a nice smooth texture that will stick to the food and not run off.

Justin’s One Man MultiReview: Kick Yo Ass Hot Sauce & Chit’s Eat Chit And Die Inferno Hot Sauce
By DK | January 31, 2010
Justin:
I made the video review for these 2 sauces first, but after trying them on food I wanted to also do a write up. The reason for it is that on food they are surprisingly different than when you just eat a tablespoon of them. I’m starting off with Chits Eat Chit and Die Inferno Hot Sauce because that one was my favorite and its what I feel like eating right now. I made some Hamburger Helper (cheesy hash browns) and mixed some of this sauce onto my plate. Although I didn’t put a lot of sauce on my dish to begin with, it has a lot of flavor. Mainly it tastes like a cayenne sauce with a background of carrots and habaneros. There is a slight extract taste/smell to the sauce but its barely noticeable and by no means ruins the flavor of the sauce. The vinegar is present but not overpowering and the heat level on food is that of your average habanero sauce. I think that’s about all I have to say that I didn’t in the video about this one but if you haven’t watched the video you should definitely do that.

Wassup? Wasabi Peas!
By DK | January 30, 2010

Mmmm, Wasabi Peas. Yummy! These things are addicting! I’ve gone through two cans of them already today. I buy these at Wally World nearly every time I go for groceries. I’ve never tried any other brands, just the Hapi.

They makes me happy!

Yesterday in the mail I got a poster tube that contained a rolled up and tied scroll. I unrolled it and on it is printed in an olde English text.

New York City bureaucrats attempt to impose population-wide salt reduction
Washington DC— The food scientist responsible for the original introduction of folic acid, biotin and fiber supplementation into commercial food products in North America today warned the New York City Health Department on the unintended consequences of population-wide salt reduction. Morton Satin, Director of Technical and Regulatory Affairs at the Salt Institute cautioned that the city’s National Salt Reduction Initiative, which pressures food manufacturers to voluntarily cut sodium content 20 to 25 percent by 2014, is based on a false premise and shaky science.
