I also had an amazing time, good friends, good beer, and good sauces. I obliterated HUDD and and someone else (can’t remember his name) in Jepordy (luckaly they didn’t have a spelling catigory) and got my tongue wreaked at CaJohn’s Execution Station.

Went great. Got my a$$ whooped in the wing eating contest. I was just putting mu 3rd one in my mouth when I heard winner. Looked over and some guy had inhaled his 5 wings. Dante’ not sure how to spell his name, a young guy that works across the aisle from CaJohn at North Market.
My son, Danny gave the “ametuer wings” a try. He had earlier done CaJohn’s Execution Station, which included the newest “HOTT” sauce, Mongoose. Danny almost finished all six rounds but had to bow out halfway through round six. We had a blast!

Busy night. Made some preserves and a second wing sauce for the competition. I thinned it down this time. Hopefully it sticks to wings. I call this one Asian Cajun, it has both flavors of the Orient and good ol’ Louisiana.

The North Market is a very cool place. The festival there isn’t huge like the trade shows, but is a lot of fun no doubt. It was well worth the 10.5 hour drive last year, that’s for sure. I’ve just got too much on my plate to take a trip out of town. Wish I could make it though.
