Not only is this mysterious pepper now available through Bisummo, but it is made available in some of the most beautiful bottles that I have ever laid my eyes on. Todd Ross (Turk), owner/operator of Bisummo, has been teasing me with bits and pieces of information for several months now about these bottles, but even more interesting is the fact that the Jiwa Api chile has made it’s way to the United States via Bisummo! First and foremost, I would like to thank the good Cap’n, his Cabin Boy (DK) and his Whipping Boy (Buddah) for allowing me to release the news of our Limited Edition Collectibles that contain Bisummo’s newest sauce called Elixir™.
This sauce has been a long time in the making since I was initially turned on to the virtually unknown pepper from a Kenyah tribe in Borneo that took me in as one of their own during my travels some fifteen years ago. Since that time, I have contracted several world renowned Botanists* to try and identify this pepper but none have been able to do so; they all seem mystified and intrigued by the exotic properties of this fruit. The Kenyah Tribe simply called the fruit Jiwa Api™ which loosely translates into English as Soul Fire™. It’s unique because its skin is somewhat translucent and emits a slight glow in the dark. The indigenous tribes of Borneo use this pepper for low-level lighting in their huts during the night, cooking, medicine, aphrodisiacs and rituals. In its purest form, the pepper gives off a slow, gradual, cold burn so intense that you can literally feel endorphins’ pumping through every vein in you body until you peak into a euphoric climax that leaves your body rejuvenated and energized. Basically, the experience is very similar to the tingling sensation just before you become asphyxiated only your senses are heightened instead of diminished and you have this electric bolt of cold heat flooding your body.
Another exciting aspect of this pepper is that its Scoville rating was tested by several independent labs to be nearly twenty percent higher than the Bhut Jolokia* but the cold heat that is emitted makes the sensation more pleasurable and sustains over a longer duration of time.
So it comes with great pride that Bisummo can finally announce after many years of development, testing and obtaining FDA approval that we have secured exclusive importation rights of the Jiwa Api™ or Soul Fire™ pepper. Our new Elixir™ sauce that uses these mystical peppers as a base shall, initially, only be offered in a Special Limited Edition until the later part of 2009 when the production version is slated to be released.

Delivery will be fulfilled by the beginning of the second quarter 2009. The price per bottle is $1,000.00 and the choice of bottle style is dictated based on the receipt of payment (first come, first reserved). The best I can do is send your offer to the purchasers and if they are interested then they will contact you or whomever wants to make this deal. One thing that I must ask though; if you are F:bleep:G around with this then please let me know now or in an email so I don’t contact Customers only to have them find out that there’s no deal when and if they contact you. That would be extremely uncool thing to do to people that have extended me an extremely large amount of faith in this venture.
