    Comments:
Please remember to be respectful of the authors and commenters. This really should not have to be said. Use common sense and treat others as you would like to be treated. Be respectful of others. There are many people here on Taste The Fear, and we all have varied opinions.

Taste The Fear and its comments are open to all readers. However, due to the nature of trolls we are not opposed to banning people from commenting and/or from the site altogether.

Taste The Fear is a place for the chilehead to share their ideas, their interests, and their love of hot sauces & spicy foods. This is also a place where others can share their interests as well, even if their beliefs are contrary to ours. But, if at any point that exchange becomes disrespectful, TTF reserves the right to say so. If you continue to be abusive, disrespectful, or otherwise hateful just for the sake of doing so, action will be taken and you will be held accountable for your actions.

Posting of email addresses and phone numbers within the comments is discouraged. It is for your protection from spambots and anyone that wishes to use that information in a less than legitimate way. Any comments with such info is subject to removal and/or moderation (editing).

Posting of links is allowed, but your comment will be moderated until the link is cleared. This is a function of the spam protection for the site. Please refrain from posting of links that contain offensive material. Restrictions on the posting of links is more forgiving within the No Fear Zone posts, but links containing extremely offensive material such as pornography or abusive/vulgar language is not allowed. If you post a link that contains such material and it bypasses moderation, TTF reserves the right to remove the comment containing the link and to take appropriate measures to prevent it from happening in the future, which may include suspension and/or banning of the offender.

Taste The Fear does not condone or promote the use of social networking sites such as Facebook or Myspace. Links to those sites are considered spam and the rules above outlining the treatment of spam apply. Although Facebok and Myspace are the only two sites mentioned, this rule applies toward any site that TTF deems to be similar in nature, function, or purpose and moderation of comments to such sites remains at the sole discretion of Taste The Fear.

Taste The Fear will contact or attempt to contact anyone that is in violation of it’s policies or has a comment moderated. We understand that mistakes happen. Either by the commenter, or by the software that protects the site from spam. An attempt will be made to resolve any and all issues that may present themselves on this blog.

    No Fear Zone:
The No Fear Zone off topic area is now a private section of the site that is only accessible via logging in, either via the login form below the NFZ recent comments or through the link in the Meta section. Both are located in the left sidebar. Once logged in, it becomes accessible also through the NFZ recent comments located in the left sidebar. Please remember, even though the NFZ is private, and not publicly visible, the rules and policies listed here still apply.

Taste The Fear’s owners/authors set forth the rules that are used on this site… and reserve the right at any time to enforce or even change those rules. We reserve the right to do so for continued or grievous attempts to violate this blog’s posting policies.

These policies should not be an issue for 99% of the people who post comments on this site. It is for the benefit of those 99% that these policies have been put into place. We want Taste The Fear to be an enjoyable place to visit and participate.

So, with all that said, please enjoy your visit here at Taste The Fear and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
