A Veteran’s Day Tribute
By admin | November 11, 2007 |
Taste The Fear proudly joins a grateful nation in tribute to those who have served — and those who serve today — to protect our freedoms and keep our nation great. Thank you for your service to our country.

In honor of our Veteran’s, please take the time to watch this video….CLICK HERE
Honestly, it took three trys before I could watch the 5 minute video all of the way through. This is one of those times when I wish that I was young enough to serve again. Cap’n

Thank you to all you have served, all who are serving, and all who will serve.
Should have read:
“Thank you to all WHO have served, all who are serving, and all who will serve.”
Thank You!
Amen. You can’t say enough about those who serve for us, and sometimes we take our freedom for granted. As we are here enjoying our lives we lose sight of how we have the opportunity to enjoy such a life. Veteran’s Day is not only a day we give our thanks and celebrate those who have giving life and limb for our cherished freedoms, but it is also a day we take a moment to remember. History isn’t just a class taught in school, it is a part of who we are. Thank you for giving us all we have.
HEy :nerd:…. you are wasting your time with the USPS. You got a talent for that writing thing! Well said.
Cap’n, Thank you for posting this link, sometimes people need to be reminded that Veterans day is a day to honor all who have served.
I always have a place in my hearts for Veterans, young and old. They are men and women who have done amazing things for me, my family, and for the country I love. Thank you to all the brave men and women from the bottom of my heart.
And thanks Cap’n for posting this. Sometimes we all need a reminder what we should be truly grateful of. :-)
I am very glad to be an American and very appreciative for all those who have served and are serving now. USA rocks.

Ohhhh, I’m gonna tell.
That’s Marla’s Daughter graduating from boot camp in Columbia, SC last year. Marla’s Dad caught her in formation, right after graduation. She has since been deployed to Korea where she will remain for one year. She loves what she is doing and is having a great time.
Thanks Admin!

I am a proud american!! I appreciate every one who has served or will serve. I have many family members who have been in many wars. Korea, Vietnam and now in Iraq.. I have respect and love for them all past and present…God Bless
Re: She has since been deployed to Korea
Best wishes to her! My understanding is that anyone deploying to Korea ‘enters’ through the LtG Tim Maude Soldier Support building at Camp Casey. That is named for my brother in law.
My father is also a veteran of the Chosin Campaign in Korea (Google that one for an eye opener!) as well as WWII.
Words cannot express my gratitude for veterans. Would to God we had more of that selfless commitment to something other than ‘self’ today.
