All New Next Generation Blair’s 2AM And 3AM Reserves!
By DK | September 25, 2009 |
I know many of your receive Blair’s newsletters/emails and may have already seen this, but I think this deserves to be posted. Blair has changed the 2AM and 3AM Reserves for the first time since he added the black wax and stopped numbering them! This time, it’s a complete remake, new bottle, wax, and more! So check out the pic and email from Blair below.

Blair’s email:
Dear Chilipal,
Today, I am excited to announce the release of the next generation 2am and 3am Reserves!! This is the first time since the “am series” inception (back in the mid-1990′s) that the bottle has changed. First of all, you should know that if you currently hold a 2am or 3am Reserve, congratulations to you, as that incarnation will never be available again!!
The new 2am and 3am Reserves (Now Available) both just got 20% hotter (again, commemorating our 20th anniversary), each bottle is 50% bigger, and the Italian resin that adorns each hand-crafted bottle will now vary batch to batch —— FYI a batch has only 42 bottles—–the main color pattern will remain the same, but I might add a drizzle here or a touch of gold there. Who knows!!
OK, so here it is: I have just made available 100 SETS of PRE-PRODUCTION 2am and 3am RESERVES. These sets are each unique creations, each different, and ONLY 100 sets will be made available worldwide!!! The sets are available in signed and numbered pairs (1 bottle 2am and 1 bottle 3am) at a price of $200 per set. HERE IS THE BEST PART: $100 from each set will be donated to one of my favorite charities, smiletrain.org, a cause that I am so proud to be a part of. Because of you, Blair’s Sauces and Snacks has changed the lives of many children around the world. Check out the letter I received from the president of Smiletrain after my first major donation (Click to view Blair’s blog about Smile Train..).
As promised, much more news will be coming soon. Keep on the lookout, our 20th Anniversary Sauces are about to be released to our chilihead universe!!! The special anniversary sauces include Original Death Sauce, After Death, Sudden Death, Mega Death, and Ultra Death. All will be presented in some very special packaging, not to mention that they are 20% hotter (really much more than that, but the 20 just worked). These bottles will be made in very limited quantities!!!!!!!!
On a final note- Coming soon…Pretzels, New Chips, Dips, No Whips, and someway cool other stuff!!
Talk to you soon.
Your Chilipal,

BLAIR

PS I’ve just made available my secret stash of my last 10 boxes of jolokias. Enjoy.

Yup- I bit. He’s always been more than kind to me.
I’m about to lose my job so I’m passing on this set. Nice looking pieces though.
****cough****DAVES HOLIDAY RESERVE BOTTLE****cough****
i can get alot of stuff on ebay for $200. this is the whole reason i dont collect alot of blairs. nice looking bottles though, but i like the old ones better.
I like the look of the new bottles, but I think they would look much better if waxed like the old ones. With the skull off to the side under the wax instead of just plopped on top.
One question I have though is about the $100 donation. Who’s making the donation, the purchaser, or Blair? For tax purposes, can this be be claimed as a charitable donation by the purchaser?
I don’t think the $200 price is all that bad, even without a donation thrown into the mix. That’s $100 per bottle, which is what I paid each for a Halloween Reserve and a Holiday Reserve back in ’05.
Im still wondering why he is using the same bottle that Dave used for his 06 Holiday reserve and New Mexico reserve. I like the bottles though. Ordered mine but not the limited 100. Just the regular not numbered set. Also Blair did a good job at rewaxing my N-59.
I just checked the readers rides for the very first time on Blairs site and laughed my arse off when I saw “Bret’s Bike”!!!
Well, he also has a sauce called Ultra Death. Dave has Ultimate Insanity. If I recall, I think Ultra Death was originally supposed to be called Ultimate Death. ???
I think I remember having or had a promo flyer from Blair with a pic of the “new” packaging and the Ultra box had “Ultra” written on one side, and “Ultimate” on the other.
Hot damn, I forgot about that. Youre right.
Im in the readers rides too but not a bike. LOL
That’s one bad ride ya have! Is there a dealer anywhere near you that’s still open? I guess if it’s out of warranty it wouldn’t really matter.
Im a Dodge Tech at a dealer.
I pretty much do all the SRT and Viper stuff. The dealer I worked for closed so went to another that didnt. LOL
Oh! I guess being a member has it’s privileges. LOL!
Maybe I’m blind, but I don’t see it.
Wonder if Blair would post a pic of the
?
Look for the Red 07 SRT8 Charger. Not the one with the black Viper Wheels though.
I dont have any Blairs collectibles so I would like to get one, but at two hundred its not gonna happen
new blair reserves are cool. id buy one if i could afford it.
