Bill & Sandi’s Hot Sauce Collection
By DK | September 20, 2009 |
Here’s one for ya from the Poop Deck! Thanks Sandi for sending in the pics of yours and Bill’s collection.
You guys a have lot of bottles!
Sandi:
Here’s our collection…
The kitchen (not including the 30 bottles in the fridge), the living room, and the overflow.
Not so organized here either. We need more cabinets to set things in, but we have a small house also. There’s not a lot of room to set things out.

NICE! I half expected to see a pic of Bill sleeping in his underwear on the couch. So Sandi, how often do you have to dust him off?
Is that a big bottle of some sort of cape fear sauce? Looks like it may have a yellow wrap around the bottle neck?
He’s
now! There’s a fan blowing on him..that helps!lol
That is a Cape Fear bottle. Bill brought it up last month in the NFZ to ask about it but got no reply. It’s Dam A Gotcha grilling sauce. Would have liked to try it..but it’s the only one so we can’t open it.
Nice
Sandi it’s from CP Specialties. No longer in business. Probably wouldn’t bring much as a collectible, but I wouldn’t open it due to it’s age. My “guess” is that it’s at least 7yrs old.
Thanks for the info TC. It’s a shame it’s no longer made..it really looks tasty looking through the bottle. I really wanted to know the flavor of it. Looks almost like a jerk kinda sauce. Collectible or not it’ll stay in the cabinet since it’s our only one.
Nice find for sure Sandi. I thought that I had all of the Cape Fear products that CP Specialty produced in my small collection, but now I see that I don’t. Where did Bill find this?
Some GREAT bottles in there, very very cool!!
TC, it was in an e-bay find along with some other bottles. I’m still really curious what the sauce was like when it was made. What did it taste like?
Hey Vic! Nice to see you here! I know our collection doesn’t hold a candle to yours!
