CaJohn’s Fun House…2008
By admin | August 18, 2008 |
So what do you think would happen if a group of Chileheads were to be set free to roam around at the world famous CaJohn’s Fiery Foods headquarters in Columbus oHIo?

Well if you guessed that they would act like a group of elementary school kids on a field trip to a candy factory, then you are most certainly thinking in the right direction.
On August 4th 2008, the friendly crew at CaJohn’s Fiery Foods, opened their doors and offered anyone that wanted to visit their manufacturing facility, a guided tour, a wonderful buffet meal that was fit for a King prepared by the CaJohn’s staff, and they offered up more hospitality than you could possibly ever imagine. As you can see from the following slideshow, we were able to have a little arts and crafts time in the bottle waxing room as well.
I had a great time meeting new friends, and spending some time with friends that I’ve known for many years. Once again John Hard, his wife Sue, and the entire gang at CaJohn’s Fiery Foods provided an opportunity for chileheads to gather with one another, and share in a great time of Chilehead Fellowship. Thank you!
Cap’n

Would it make you feel any better to tell you the pots were plugged in BEFORE you left?
Did you leave because you saw me throw up spiderwebs on myself? I wish I could say I had a ball, that I enjoyed the tour, the food, but I was a little indisposed. I wouldn’t want to repeat that day, except maybe an hour of it. The rest was :bleep:.

Boy…now I bet Bill wished I’d of had just one more beer and kept BS-ing with MSK
Looks like you guys were casing the joint. CaJohn lost a fortune in $$$$ on wax that day. We had a blast too and CaJohn entire Krewe are 1st rate class acts.
We enjoyed hanging out with all the TTF Krewe too. Wish we had more time outside of Jungle Jims to do so but there will always be next time.
Thanks to everyone who attended! Thanks even more for all the kind words! We had a great time hosting you, and will welcome you all back whenever you can stop by. Bret did not state that there will be another one after next years WoF like he did last year, so here is the official announcement-CaJohns Open House 3 will follow JJ’s WoF on Monday!
btw, Cap’n Bones looks very proper at that desk, looks better than Passcow for sure. Hell, he looks even better than me behind that desk…
LOL
I have visited CaJohns and JJ’s once on a trip thru Ohio, so I know how much fun you guys all had, between JJ’s and CaJohns, thats kinda like a Disneyland for Chiliheads !!!!!
And Yes, TC does look pretty good doesn’t he?
Now how do you convince him to attend FMK again this year? Can you bring the chair maybe? He does look comfy in it.
Yes he does…now I feel bad.
Is that how you really feel :nerd:?
See the skater kick the pirate’s ass?
Was I close?

Welcome to TTF Nick!
Nick I remember the sample of your Blackened Spice that I had at JJ’s this year, and it rocked! I need to get a bottle so I can try it on grilled Tuna.
Ditto what the Cap’n said. Welcome and your sauces rocked at Weekend of Fire. I will have to say it was my favorite at the show this year.
