Excellent! I’d swear at the 7 minute mark you can see the steam on Neils glasses when he holds them up!

It is crazy what Hippy will do. I saw this one the other day, and can’t wait to see the newest trinidad scorpion one. Passcow also gave me the remainder of his Afterburner sauce, so I am looking forward to trying it out when I get home.

are the 7pods hotter than the scorpions? they sure looked bigger.

Painwise, I think the Trinidad scorpion is hotter than the bhut jolokia, and the hottest pepper I have ever had. I also put the fatalli up there with the 7-pod.

Speaking of 7 pod, Chuck Evans asked me if I knew anyone that could send him a scorpion to try. Anyone have any to spare?

Hottest pepper I’ve ever had was that Bhut at the BBQ joint by JJ’s. I think it was the owner of the place that gave it to CaJohn while we were eating dinner after the Deathmatch. I only had a sliver of that thing and it lit me up! Way hotter than the peppers Jim brought to FMK. I will agree that the Bhut that we had alongside the Scorpion at FMK wasn’t as hot as the Scorpion, but neither was as hot as that pepper in Ohio.

I think when you have peppers that are at that level of heat, it’s more subject to how your body reacts on a given day than whether one is actually hotter than the other. They were all hot as hell. :tu:

I thought you eat all your peppers at the same time Willy? ;) I though the TS at FMK was so much hotter than the previous year, or it hit me harder than I ever remember. That pepper though tastes good.

That was the second time around when I eat all of ‘em in one spoonful. Still wasn’t as hot as that sliver of Bhut at the BBQ place. Bret’s Bhuty may taste better than Sue’s, but that man at the BBQ place has the hottest Bhuty around. :dtu:

His Bhuty was so hot, it made Huvason turn red and break out in a sweat. That’s a hot Bhuty! :grinnn:

Bhuts are hot and the burn seems to hang around longer, they kinda hit me in the back teeth and throat area of my mouth then burnt a whole down into my stomach. The Scorpions burn my lips and tongue I actually found the experince really painfull.

      They are both Nasty.
      in a good way.
I’m working of a sauce which uses Fatalii as the base pepper, then equal amounts of naga morich, & pots and Trini Scorpions.
Working for an all over burn that still has that fresh pepper taste.
Were usingit for a wing comp over here in April, I’ll keep you posted.

      Mick Stillmanz says:

As an after thought I found a heap of variance in pod heat in Nagas and Bhutts, the only time they seem truely consistantly hot is when they weregrown at the peak of our summer and were stressed through minimum watering in th efinal stages of pod development.

I think by the number of posts you have over the past few months, the question should be Who TF is Generalpee? When you learn how to garden, you might be able to prove it to the rest of us. Not to mention, leaving the camera on long enough so we can see when you throw it up LAMF.

This season has been excellent for production of some really hot pods, the quad sauce should be pretty damn close to the hottest natural product on the market if everything goes to plan.
