    Fire Mountain Krewe 2008 Pepper Challenge

    As promised, here’s some more tidbits from Fire Mountain Krewe 2008. The first video is of the pepper lineup for the FMK Pepper Challenge. 10 peppers, each one increasing in heat level from the next. If I recall, the peppers were picked from the pepper fields at Jim Campbell’s Open Fields 2008. Of course the challenge was to eat a bite of each pepper, working your way up from the mildest to the hottest.


    Unless you’re just missing some brain matter and get the bright idea to add all ten peppers to a spoon for one bite of the whole shootin’ match! I wonder who had that bird brained idea? :bubbah: Which brings us to the next two videos. The first video was Bret’s view of the “Spoon Full of Peppers Challenge” attempt:


    The final video is of the same thing, but was shot by Betty from another point of view:



    Thank You Bret and Betty for shooting the videos. The Pepper challenge was a lot of fun for sure. Can’t wait to see what’s in store this year. I hope Jim brings more peppers! :jc:

      They are predicting some incredible rain totals for here Friday :-( While I don’t see that as stopping me- yet- I’ve got my eye on it.
