    Happy Birthday America!

    By DK | July 4, 2010 |

Break out the grills, the PBR, and the fireworks, it’s time to celebrate! :woohoo:

Taste The Fear would like to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July!

The big fireworks show here was last night, since the fourth falls on a Sunday this year. The pic at the top of this post is a composite of some of the snapshots that I made of the display. Also, I managed to borrow a second camera and was able to shoot video of the display. Watch it below and see if you can pick out the shots from the pic above. :dtu:

So, what does everyone have planned? The fireworks show was pretty much it for me. I’ll probably grill a couple of burgers tonight, but other than that it’ll be a pretty laid back day. No classes next week, so I’ll have time to finish up a couple of reviews that I’ve been working on and get those posted, so keep your eyes peeled for those.

Until next time, have fun everyone, stay safe and enjoy the holiday! :matey:

That’s scary Huv! Yikes! We didn’t do much, Bill’s been under the weather lately. It’s kinda neat having such a big yard.. I didn’t spend a dime on fireworks…put a sheet in the back yard..could see the cities fire works and all of the neighbors setting their off.
Hope everyone had a safe weekend!

no cookout, no party, no drinking here. Just a laid back weekend here. Farmer’s Market Saturday morning. Got home Betty made a pie for a pie contest Saturday afternoon. Got back from that and then went to watch the 15 minutes worth of fireworks our area puts on. Chilled out around the house all day Sunday and went to my old hometown and watched their 20 minutes worth of fireworks. We did sign up and won 2 tickets to the Brickyard 400 so that was about the biggest thrill of the weekend.

Radio station called today and told Betty they would mail tickets and info to her. Told her they were 160 bucks. I checked IMS website and they have 80 dollar tickets and 160 dollar ones. Not sure if we get two at 80 = 160 or two at 160. I guess we’ll find out in a couple days. We may sell em, not sure yet.
