HOT SAUCE AND FIERY FOODS FESTIVAL
14th & 15th February 2009
JINDIVICK
Redback Chilli Company Deer Farm,
1420 Jacksons Track Jindivick Victoria 3818.The aim of the Hot Sauce & Fiery Foods Festival…….
… was to create a festival that focuses on the Australian Chilli Culture and Fiery Foods in a stunning outdoors location in rural Victoria that’s a stones throw away from Melbourne. We hold the festival on the third weekend of February every year at the Redback Chilli Co farm at Jindivick on Jacksons Track, in scenic West Gippsland,Victoria and only 45 minutes from Dandenong on the Princes Hwy.
Now in our 10th year and being the longest running Chilli festival in Australia, from our humble beginnings in 2000 we have grown into one of the most exciting events in Australia and have become the Premier Event on the Fiery Foods calendar in Australia.

Sounds like a hoot.
I think I’ll go
Jim Campbell has mentioned to me a few times about a show he goes to in Aussieland. I guess this is it!
I wonder if any of the previous show posters are still available???? Really cool stuff!
This is one of the only foreign countries I have an interest visiting. I would love to be at that show.
G’day Taste the Fear, this is my kinda chilli head site, hey thanks for the plug, and you are welcome to drop in any time you like, we liove in country Victoria an hours drive outa Melbourne.
We’re always Supporting Global Warming BUT, the threat this week are bloody bush fires.
The CFA Counrty Fire Association has posted a major warning for tomorrow for the worst bush fires in Victorian history, and we’re in the fire path (BUMMER)tinder dry long grass, 200 ft gum trees and fire bugs dont mix.
So lucky we have JC (Mild to Wild Peppers & Herbs)flying out for the weekend, we’ll keep him busy fighting fires while sell hot sauces.
Like the good ol USA, and the bush fires there we must deal with these mongrels and stamp them out like hot coals.
We will keep you posted how the festival goes and welcome anyone from the USA to exhibit with free sites and accomodation ext year.
Cheers

Welcome Aboard Haggis!!
Hopefully Jim will remember to bring his special wildfire hose.
Keep it safe!
Cheers,
I met the mighty stepping Jim at last years Victorian Chilli festival and a fine man he surely is , his sauce changed my fathers life course …. but anyhow …. cya there
Welcome to TTF Haggis! Try not to drown Jim with your Aussie swill again this year. I heard his virtually incoherent message on CaJohn’s phone from last year.
Welcome Aboard Jimbo!!!
and a hearty welcome as well Jimbo.
Damn, he said the F word. Free! I must do this show, when, finances will dictate that.
Here’s hoping everybody’s safe there… there are some really nasty bush fires going through Vistoria. Some UGLY sights within 10 miles of Horrible Haggis’s place.
If anyone hears from Jim or Haggis, please let everyone know how they are.
Haggis is a good man and a dear friend. I was one of the original “6″ at the first festival. Jindivik is a first class festival, loaded with fun, drink and chiliheads. A well worth trip Down Under.
All the best Haggis, Fire heats up Chiliheads and will only make next year’s festival hotter and more sucessful. Cheer’s Mate !
“The Wombat”
Welcome “Wombat”! Nice to have you onboard the good ship TTF!
Did the show happen despite the fires?
Thanks Cap’n Bones
Recieved an email from Haggis 2 days ago. The festival was interupted but a few die hards stayed back and partied on. He mentioned Jim from Mild to Wild by name and appreciated the US turnout. Said he dropped them all off @ the airport and was headed for Dubai.
FYI- Never bring up the story of “The Wombat” and Haggis waking up one morning at a certain Aussie chili festival in the same bed…extreamly hungover. He doesn’t want anyone to know and I’m sworn to secretcy.
I promise not to ever mention that you guys woke up in the same bed.
I’m thankful our secret is good with you !!!
If you can’t trust a Pirate, who can you trust ?
