TURTLE LAKE, Wis. — The spectacle that drew hundreds to a gravel pit down a dirt road might make most city boys blush.
But in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, you’ll find no red faces. Just proud rednecks.
“It’s a little redneck, but we love it, we accept it, we admit it, and we enjoy it,” said Brett Moravitz, a self-proclaimed redneck.

Looks like a lot of fun! It also looks like the area was large enough that they could have had a day two event shooting the livin’ sh*t out of the wrecked vehicles. They would have of course needed to established a safe firing line, and limited access except from one safe entry point, but I could see that being as much fun as the original event. Also entry fees for the clunker hunt could be used to clean up the mess!
Now being able to bring in weapons to shoot up the wrecks would be the icing on the cake! Maybe a few 50 cals, and a few RPG’s would surely add another element to the FUN.
