It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the Fire Dawgs Salsa Blog.
Darrell has asked me to participate in his blog as a guest writer. I can barely write a complete sentence, and I can’t spell worth a flip. It will truly be an honor to assist in any way that I can. After all, Darrell and Candy are Official Members of the “Cape Fear Pepper Company Short Bus Riders Association”…

Fire Dawgs Salsa Blog was created by Darrell and Candy Fitch to bring more attention to Gourmet Salsa and the people who make it. Darrell, aka Big Dawg, is a full time firefighter who on his days off works with Candy in running the everyday operations of Big Dawg Salsa. It has been a passion of Darrell and Candy, for awhile now, to increase the popularity of Salsa through out the web. Over the last few years there has been an increasing popularity in Hot Sauce communities. These sites do an awesome job on Hot Sauce reviews but you have to really dig to find the Salsa reviews. A different concept (thought up by the Taste The Fear Crew) will be used for the reviews.
The reviews will consist of 4 or more Firefighters who enjoy gourmet food and who have volunteered to dedicate their time in to helping Salsa and other gourmet food companies get an honest opinion on how their product might do in the marketplace and they like the idea of eating some great food. At no time will any Manufacturers/Owners take part in the review process.
Darrell and Candy also wanted a site that people could get more info on the ends and outs of getting their own salsa into the marketplace. So swing by and check us out.
