      DK was the favorite going into the contest, but when he folded, I think the surprise killed Joe and Gary’s will to win. Next year we will use smaller wings so we don’t have the “I’m full” and give the participants eye protection so we don’t have the “got it in my eye” offered as the reason for dropping out. Great Job! Hudd and Shoemaker! I hope we have all of you back for ’09. The North Market Fiery Foods Festival will be bigger and better! We also will have the Dispatch Kitchen all day for chilehead activities.

      Hey John, I think the size of the wings was just fine. Yea, they were HUGE, but that’s just part of it I think. I should have just stuck out the hunger pains a little longer instead of munching on that sandwich before the contest. That was just a bad decision on my part. :dork:

      The only suggestion I would make would be to deep fry the wings instead of grilling them.

      And as Hudd said, I’m already looking forward to next year! It was a blast! :tu:

      im looking forward to it, i heard you where doing another tour after the weakend of fire if thats true i will be sure to catch it since i couldnt make it this weakend.

      Which reminds me, who do I still owe Deathmatch DVD’s to? I took some of them to Columbus and gave them out there at the North Market, but I know I was supposed to mail some of them out. I’ll dig back through my emails to check also.
