Pay It Forward!!! HWL Auction

Check out this information that’s published over on Blane’s Headwinderlicker site. There are some REALLY nice collectibles up for auction…
To start off we don’t consider this a Charity Auction, but a auction for a fellow Chili-Head that everyone appreciates, cares for and considers a friend. So I’m doing my part as a PAY IT FORWARD and I hope everyone will do there part in helping out!!!!!
Bill & Sandi had made a post on TTF about Hudd’s computer being out of commission, now this might not soundlike a huge issue to some but if you have followed the Posts on TTF you would completely understand the importance of why he needs our support. I read that blogging reduced stress by up to 80% and I would have to agree with that statistic. Sometimes when times are tough you give up the items you love, well we would hate to see Hudd be unable to do something he loves so much and that is being part of the great Chili-head community!!
So do what you can and support a fellow Chili-head and lets get him blogging again. If you can’t donate sauce, please bid on the auctions or donate in anyway you see fit.

“Pay It Forward” is a great movie based on a great concept. You pick 3 random strangers and do some good for them, but in turn you have to tell them they have to “Pay it forward” and do the same thing. Like a pyramid scheme it goes on and on creating a better world where people do things for each other. If you haven’t seen this movie, you should because it really is one of the best dramas you will ever see.
Last night at the baseball game before the HWL put up his post, I was thinking about this movie. There was a ground ball that leaped up into the hands of a man in the stands. Without any hesitation, he turned around and looked for a little boy to give it to. I thought of the “Pay It Forward” concept because I would’ve done the same thing. It doesn’t take a genius to know that the boy will get more enjoyment out of the ball than some adult. So to come to HWL and see the “Pay It Forward” post for Hudd, it made me grin ear to ear.
Yes, Hudd isn’t a total stranger, but the concept and the gesture, thanks to Sandi & Bill for their idea, is so on the money, I wish I could do more to help here. If there is anything I can offer, please let me know.
No problem, we are working out the details on when the auctions will start, gathering additional bottles and information that will be up for sale also and a place to just donate…

Boy…now I’m all teary eyed reading this…The Pay it Forward is the perfect name for this. We all know that the favor would be forwarded to any of us if need be. Great job Blane!
Man you guys! I come to the wife’s office to post my weight and I find out you’ve been conspiring to get me a computer. My wife wonders why strangers would do something like that and my son says you’ll all have a free pass to heaven! I’m taking the puter in the morning to the local computer guru here in town. I don’t know anything about em but I doubt it’ll be a cheap fix. The tower comes on but no power supply to anything. It’s a six year old Gateway and we never had any problems at all with it so I guess it’s time has come.
That’s how I’m feeling right now :nerd:. To know people care enough to do this is just overwhelming. From what I’ve saw I guess Sandi and Bill are the instigators behind this. Thanks you guys.
It looks like Blane is big in this deal also. I thought the box of bacon and collectible sauces he mailed me a few weeks ago was something. Hell that was nothing compared to what he’s up to now. The wife said he hasn’t even met us and doing this and wonders why. I told her that I’ve seen people do stuff like this on here before. It’s just we’re not use to all this kind heartedness that you folks here are showing us.
I’ll get back in a couple days and let you know what’s going on and get updated a little more. Looks like I have about 500 NFZ posts to check out when I have more time.

We are in for this,but we don’t have anything that remotely reaches the calibur of Brant’s donations. All I can really donate is the products we sell. Tell me where to send them. I think I missed that info. I’m slightly mentally challenged!

Get with Bill and sandi, I think they are putting together an auction also, I was stuck at work Sunday so one of the auctions will go up today. If you send the pic of the sauce to bill he can add it to the ebay auction and you can send it to the winning bidder. Thanks for the help.

I’ve added a Paypal donation button to TTF for the “Pay It Forward” fundraiser for the purchase of a pc for Hudd. All proceeds will be sent to the person responsible for the purchase, either Blane or Sandi/Bill. I will include the private list of donors/donations to them as well.

I’ve sent a couple emails and made a couple posts already. We got our computer back this morning. The wife went and picked it up while my son and I were out playing around. I’m not sure what was wrong with it or the cost to fix it. I’ll find out later when she gets home. I appreciate the hell out all the support from everyone. It really means alot that you people care enough to do this for me and my family. Thanks to everyone involved.
