    Rare Blair’s Up For Sale

    If anyone’s interested in purchasing some really rare Blair collectables, there’s a handful of them up for private sale. Here’s a portion of an email detailing what’s up for grabs. There are pics of the items below the list. I have withheld the sellers name and email address, but if anyone’s interested in any of these items, send an email to admin “at” southernfriedg8r.com and I’ll put you in contact with the seller. :tu:

      If you have the extra fundage, this would be a good time to buy some of the rare Blairs. I think eventually the value for “rare” older bottles will once again go up, but it’s hard to say if they will bring as much as they did in the past.

      Bill, just to explain withholding the name and email addy. It’s just to protect them from being spammed because of their email address being posted publicly on the web. Same reason as why the email address in the comments form isn’t shown.

      Just a courtesy to the seller.

      All of ‘em are out of my price range unfortunately.

      I like the old label bottles. Those proto hand drawn labels are really sweet. :tu:

      As for price, I wonder if, and how much of a loss these will sell at? I personally don’t see that Pre-AM selling for $10k again, especially since a fourth one of those has shown up. Surely there’s more of them hiding out there just waiting to be be found. :dtu:

      Thats a bad thing when 3 known of anything turns into 4. Supply and demand, supply just went up %25…..are there more than 3 who want it? This will dictate price and the market.

      Going after another market here, and you all know what it is, I’ll tell you that the real collectibles market is soft, but there are buyers.

      Non ” intrinsic ” valued collectibles, or ” intangibles” are weak, but the hard money market is solid. I see prices rising after the American recovery happens but not before for this hotsauce and fishing lures, movie posters etc etc.

      Folks dont play with the money when times are tough, they guard it. A true collector with very deep pockets does pop in now and then to cherry pick whats available.

      I have a fancy bottle for sale too, it got stuck once but the doctor got it rescued. I steam clean it at the car wash, so it ok now.
