Taste The Fear…Battle of the Bottles 2
By admin | April 1, 2008 |
Garlic Chili Edition
Here we are once again with another BATTLE OF THE BOTTLES™ and we got one hell of a showdown. This is Buddah, and I’ve enlisted a couple of fellow Chileheads, Hudd and Justin to help me decide the fate of two award winning garlic chili sauces. I have had both products before and they both rock, so to me this is going to be hard to decide, so I had to really put them through several tests. Anyone who has ever had either of these products knows they are deserving of all the allocades they have been given by the Fiery Food Industry. So what are these great products? Let’s tell ya a little about them before we shove them into the Ring of Destiny™ and decide their fates.
In the far, far, far Northwestern corner we have Droolin’ Devil’s Garlic Chilli Sauce pictured with the devil that drools, hence the name. Clever ain’t it?

You can find the entire line of Droolin’ Devil Products and a whole lot more at www.unclebig.com. This is one of the first products that I fell in love with on my journey to introduce my tastebuds to new hot sauces. Garlic is a flavor most people love to have, but hate to have linger long. Droolin’ Devil brings the garlic and your taste buds appreciate it. Yet there is a lot more to this wonderful condiment than garlic. Here are the list of ingredients:
Fresh Red Peppers, Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Salt
Well it is good to know the red peppers are fresh. In contrast to Droolin Devil’s competition, the ingredient list is short and simple. You also have to love the devil that drools on the label living up to the company name. For those that do not know, this is a product of Canada, and with Canadian tradition, there is some french translation here and there on the label. This makes me feel like I am having something special that other parts of the world have had to pleasure to dine with. The French really know cuisine. Who else could make a slug in a shell taste so good?
Let’s see how it holds up to the taste test against their fierce competition. That competition is Sweet Sunshine’s Roasted Shallot & Garlic Chili Sauce.
Below is the two bottles, but the one I received from Sweet Sunshine is their old bottle and label. I really like the old label’s colors, but I can see that the new label is probably an easier seller because it keeps things simple and you can read it better. Not to mention the 6-sided bottle makes for easier gripping. We aren’t here though to judge the bottles, but to judge the sauce.

Sweet Sunshine’s Roasted Shallot & Garlic Chili Sauce’s list of ingredients is as such:
Water, Sugar, Shallots, Vinegar, Roasted Garlic, Tomatoes, Corn Syrup Solids, Salt, Mustard Seed, Ancho Peppers, Molasses, Cayenne Pepper, Habanero Pepper, Onion, Spices, Natural Flavor, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum.
As you can see this is a much more complex chili sauce than the Droolin’ Devil Product. I also want to point out all the sweet stuff that makes up this sauce. Notice that the second ingredient on the list is sugar, and there also is Corn Syrup Solids? Never seen that one before. Then there is also Molasses to boot. No wonder the serving size of 1 tbsp has 4g of sugar per serving. I love the sauce, but I have to be careful how much I use at once. Did I just say I loved the sauce? Yes folks, I was introducted to Sweet Sunshine’s Chili Sauces at the 2007 Weekend of Fire and it was one of my favorite tasting products at the show. I just haven’t used it on food because of the high sugar content. At least not until the BATTLE OF THE BOTTLES 2™.
Let us put these two great products head to head in the Ring of Destiny™ and let them fight it out, and see who comes out the winner.
Hudd:
Just upon picking up these 2 bottles of sauce at Jungle Jim’s my first impression was, “if these taste the way they look, I’m going to like_______ the best.”
Here’s my observation of the two.
The appearance of the two is quite different. The Droolin Devil (DD) looks thin and vinegary, and the Sweet Sunshine (SS) looks thick and syrupy. I opened them and gave a sniff to each, and the DD didn’t smell as I had suspected. No vinegar smell to it, just a sweet pleasant smell. The SS smelled as I expected. Sweet and BBQie.
I grabbed a spoon and tried a spoonful of each. The DD was thin and had a bit of heat to it. Didn’t detect the vinegar I was expecting. The SS was as I expected from appearance and smell, sweet and BBQie and it also has a little heat in it.
I had a bag Tostito Scoops sitting on the table, so I poured some of each on a Scoop. Didn’t change the outcome of the taste any, I just like Tostitos.
Last night the wife had made sloppy joes with Manwich sauce so I had her save some of the hamburger back with no Manwich in it so I could use it for this review. I Mixed up some of each and had lunch. Both worked well as a sloppy joe sauce, but the SS was more at home in the hamburger. This sauce could possible become my go to sloppy joe sauce.
Later in the evening, I put some wings on the grill along with a boneless skinless chicken breast. The DD is thin and didn’t hang on too well, but once cooked into the chicken, it was pretty tasty on the wings. The SS hung on like a BBQ sauce, and got my vote here also. I liked it as a dipping sauce for the chicken breast also.
The two bottles were both under five bucks at JJ’s, but I feel the Sweet Sunshine was the better buy. It seems to have more uses than the Droolin Devil. I can already taste it in my mind in some baked beans.
So that being said, I picked the Sweet Sunshine over the Droolin Devil. Both were good but I liked the Sweet Sunshine better.
As a side note, I had my son Danny do a blind taste test when he got home from school. I put some of each on Tostitos and he tried them. Not knowing which was which he picked the Sweet Sunshine also. I had to take it from him so I could have some left over for baked beans.
Justin:
Sweet Sunshine
Both of my sauces are being tested on chicken nuggets. This sauce is just right on the consistency. Its thick enough to cling to my nuggets as a dipping sauce, but still pours easily. It smells very sweet and reminds me of a bbq sauce. The first thing I think of in the taste is also a bbq sauce with the initial flavor being onion and garlic. I didn’t really know exactly what a shallot is so I looked it up and it said similar to an onion only sweeter, and that’s definitely what I tasted in this sauce. The garlic is there to but not as strong as I would like it to be. Other than the sweetness from the shallots and garlic there is also sugar listed as the second ingredient from the top, and a little further down corn syrup and also molasses. The molasses is well hidden in the bbq flavor bit is still detectable.
I don’t really like sweet sauces, but I can stand a little sweetness in bbq sauces. If I where to buy a Sweet Sunshine product again it would be the hotter version, that is still sweet, but not as sweet as this one. I can stand this one its just not my first choice. My overall judgment of this one is good but really just another bbq sauce.
Droolin Devil Garlic Chilli Sauce
For the review I stuck with chicken nuggets because I wanted to do them both on the same food, but its really not the best choice for this one. The flavor goes good with the nuggets, but its just to thin for dipping. If I had the 2 bottles in the fridge I would grab the sweet sunshine for nuggets ,but that don’t mean it’s the winner. Like I said before its just another bbq sauce with a bit to much sugar. If im eating something that I like BBQ on, like chicken nuggets, I would grab that one. Droolin Devil is more unique though, and really goes great on a variety of foods. I have had it before and I can tell you that its really good with pizza and also on eggs. It is also a sweet sauce but not nearly as sweet as the Sweet Sunshine.
The Droolin Devil ingredients list is short and doesn’t really have anything that would make me think of a sweet sauce listed on it. Fresh red peppers, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, salt. The main flavors of this sauce are the garlic and fresh red peppers, the rest are just flavor enhancers. I do wish it was just a little thicker, even on pizza and other non dipping foods it was hard to keep in place. Even though both of these sauces are garlic chilli sauces they are completely different from each.
Droolin Devil is my favorite between them by a landslide, but I could see them both in the same fridge for different meals.
My overall rating for Sweet Sunshine: 3/10 the hotter version would of gotten a lot higher rating from me but still would of gotten its ass kicked by Droolin Devil though.
My overall rating for Droolin Devil Garlic Chilli sauce… 7.9/10
Buddah:
When I think of Chili Sauce, I think of Asian cuisine. So I stopped over to Wegman’s Supermarket, and picked out a few things from the Asian Hot Food Bar. I took a little beef and mushrooms, some chicken, mini eggrolls, a little veggie dumpling action, along with some white rice. So it was time to put them into the first round of the competition in the Ring of Destiny™. Pouring a little bit of each sauce into a separate dipping cup, you begin to see the difference between each chili sauce. The Droolin’ Devil(DD) product is a lot thinner and easier to pour, while the Sweet Sunshine(SS) sauce is much thicker and darker.
I went to town on the mini eggrolls first. They were about the size of my thumb, and about as thick as my stubby digit as well. The less viscous DD dripped as I attempted to take a bite. There was still plenty sauce on the mini chinese treasure, but the drip was note worthy because when I dipped the egg roll into the SS, no drip was detected. The SS clung like honey onto the crunchy surface of the egg roll like a barbeque sauce. Taste wise they both were quite good this way. Before I could even make a decision, the mini bite sized treats were history. I did detect a slight heat from the SS sauce.
I needed more experimentation so I poured some on the white rice. Eureka! You really can begin to notice the big difference in tastes. Quite a sweetness arose from the rice with the SS and it is hard to resist the sweetness on the tongue. Pleasure centers know the difference, and sugar is sugar after all. The SS stuck to the rice just like the egg roll, and it made it easy to eat all the sauce without leaving a trace behind. The DD although not as sweet was really good as well on the white grain, but in a more garlicky way. I liked both here, but I think the advantage would have to go to DD on this one. It tasted more like a meal with the garlic complexity of the DD.
Next came the best part of my meal as I would soon discover, the dumplings. The SS once again clung to the food, and the dumpling would look like it was dipped into a dessert sauce. The taste once it hit my mouth sang in a harmony with my tastebuds. I returned to the dunking cup and polished off that dumpling within a few more bites. There was no use denying how good it was. DD could not compete with that sweetness. Or could it? DD with the dumpling was truly fantastic too, and if I didn’t have the SS with me that day, I would not have thought any less of my meal for the taste was great. Yet, the SS was incredible and despite the DD’s best effort, it took a hard blow to the jaw and I wasn’t sure it would ever recover after that.
I moved onto the chicken and beef, and no matter what I was eating, I regretted not having more dumplings or at least saved them for last. I always loved to save the best for last, but I didn’t know, I just didn’t know. The chicken as well as the beef with shrooms were good with both sauces, and I was really enjoying my dunking exploits. Once again, the sweetness of the SS was winning out. I am not sure I really enjoyed the mushrooms on the DD too much, but on the chicken and beef it was very good. The SS was great on everything.
Round two.
I tried some more a few days later, but this time I tried some on the japanese version of the dumpling, gyoza. I also bought a whole cooked chicken and pulled a little white and dark meat to sample with. The gyoza I bought was also a vegetable dumpling, but this one was cold, and I heated it up in the microwave. Not exactly the best way to have dumplings, but it was the way I was instructed. The outside of the dumpling’s corners were too rubbery too eat, but the main part was tender and juicy. I enjoyed the chinese dumplings much better, but with both sauces they made the meal so much more interesting. The one good thing about using DD, was that because it was less viscous, I could scoop the sauce into the opening of the dumpling so I could get more instead. The SS was more of a dipping sauce than the DD in this case. There was no denying the SS was the winner here as well.
Lastly came the chicken. I very much enjoyed the warmth of the chicken here with the sauces. The other day I had pieces of cooked chinese black pepper chicken, and by the time I got home it just lost the heat. I didn’t try cooking with either chili sauce until now. I poured a little of each sauce on a small piece of chicken and used the microwave again. Once again I noticed the heat of the SS on the back of my throat. It wasn’t hot hot, but it was noticeable more now than before. DD had so little heat I didn’t take notice. The SS also coated the chicken way better than the DD, and the taste once again went to the SS chili sauce.
Eventhough I have a clear winner, I love the Droolin Devil product, and will continue to use it over the Sweet Sunshine product for one good reason. Sweet Sunshine’s high sugar content. Healthwise for me, the DD is a safer bet. Most people won’t care as much as me because I had stomach surgery and its to my benefit to stay away from the high sugar sauces. Until the day comes when Sweet Sunshine comes out with a Splenda version, then I will stick to my good chili sauce friend Droolin’ Devil. Not to mention some of their other great sauces like one of my favorites, Liquid Sin.
Alas, in all fairness, the hands down winner for me in the BATTLE OF THE BOTTLES 2™ must go to Sweet Sunshine Roasted Shallot & Garlic Chili Sauce! Congratulations Sweet Sunshine, you make one hell of a tasty product. If you are looking for more heat, then try their Atomic Chili Sauce, it is my favorite of their chili sauces.

Im figuring if your ingredients include “Sugar…Corn Syrup Solids…Molasses” you are going to appeal to the majority of everyones sweet tooth.
Next time you get a chance, look at the ingredients of a lot of the award winners of the Scovies and Chile Pepper not all but the majority of the winners have sugar or some form in their first 3 ingredients.
Just an observation…
oh…forgot to write…enjoyed the review
:nerd:, review turned out nice. I had fun doing it. Danny ate the rest of my Sweet Sunshine, so I didn’t get my baked beans yet.
I have to be honest, I have not tried DD Garlic Chili Sauce yet. Sounds wonderful UB! I will have to give it a shot sometime.
As for SS Chili Sauce, Garlic and Shallot, this is by far one of my favorite sauces! I have found uses on it for everything. It is very mild but wonderful all at the same time. YUMMY! I need to get more of this too.
MMMM…guess I have to go shopping soon!
jodie
rec’s on what you put it on? mac n cheese?
Nice review :nerd:! I have not tried DD Garlic chili yet…but will have to pick one up!! SS Chili garlic & shallot is one of our favorite sauces!! Last year at WOF we ended up buying 6 bottles!! Very good sauce! We’ve found many uses for it!!
i guess im the only one that liked the dd garlic chilli best. the review turned out really good, fun to do, and entertaining to read. for the battle style review i definitly like multi reviewers better than just one person.
here here!
Congrats to the Sweet Sunshine crew. I have all of their products and I really enjoy them. Like I said after the first Battle, there are no losers. I now must have a bottle of Droolin’ Devil Garlic Chilli Sauce.
Thank you to the review team for sharing your thoughts on a couple of quality products
Thanks Hudd, Justin and
for taking the time to do this review.
To me, comparing the Droolin’ Devil Garlic Chilli to the Sweet Sunshine sauce head to head, is like comparing apples to oranges, kind of. Yes they are both hot sauces with Garlic, but I’m not sure they are comparable based on the other ingredients and their applications.
When we created this sauce, we had the garlicy sweet asian inspired sauce market in mind, and it’s held it’s own in that category. Me being a diabetic carries certain weight on what ingredients go into our sauces. I do have a sweet tooth don’t get me wrong, but after eating my sauces, I don’t need to take a couple extra units of insulin. I like to use liquid honey to get my sweetness over the palette, more expensive yes, but it’s effectiveness is worth it. We think we did a great job of negating most of the vinegar taste as well as Hudd mentioned.
The sauces in the review are two entirely different TYPES of sauces from what I’ve been told. The Droolin’ Devil sauce is a fresh and clean tasting sauce. It’s meant as a topical condiment (I use about 2 litres a month) for just about anything, and it really shines when used as a marinade and even a reduction in cooking.
We don’t use any thickeners, Corn Syrup and no refined sugar in this sauce so it’s not going to stick to wings as Hudd said. But when cooked it, it does it’s job.
Apparently the Sweet Sunshine is the complete opposite of that. I’ve been told it’s more of a BBQ sauce type sauce (as per Justin’s comment), very sweet and thick, mostly thanks to the molasses and Xanthan Gum, it’ll stick to your wings, your ribs, the wall, whatever, it sounds quite viscous.
I’m sure it’s a great tasting sauce as they’ve won several awards for the lineup and quite handily beat the beJesus out of the DD Garlic Chilli here on TTF today, so they must make a good product.
A more apropos comparison to our sauce would be Cholula Chili Garlic and a couple of others that escape me at the moment. Think Asian garlic sauces, they will come to mind.
We appreciate the positive comments that were offered on our product and again thank everyone involved for reviewing our product.
Nah, I am one who does not like hot sauce on her mac and cheese….it just makes the creamy cheesness not so creamy and yummy anymore. BUT if you add hot pepper flakes or ground chili peppers, I am in for it. Just no liquid!
But I did use it on eggs, soups, pork, chicken, nuggets, burgers, sandwhiches, tuna fish, chicken salad, wraps, ect….
Next time let him win…… And let him chose what sauce he would like to compete against
Glad to see you posting again
head
Hey Uncle Bunny, I mean uncle Big, I think the way these “battles” are set up is on apparantly similar sauces. Just looking at the labels, they appear similar. They both say Chili sauce, right? Close enough to me to warrant a comparison anyway. Any differences should come out in the review(s) anyway.
Realistically, as diverse as this industry is, how are you gonna get a true “apples to apples” head to head review together anyway? Well, unless you do one on Short Bus Hot Sauce and Cape Fear Smolderin’ Chipotle. Wonder who would win that one.
This is the first “battle” review I have had a chance to read. I like the format, especially with the multi-reviewer aspect of it. Gotta get me some of both sauces for sure.
I don’t see us as losing per se, our GC sauce is just different than the SS sauce, that’s all. It’s like bringing a knife to a gun fight, the SS has way more fire power ingredients wise than the DD GC.
Now that being said, comparing the Sweet Sunshine Atomic and Droolin’ Devil Liquid Sin would be spot on. Both competed in the same category coming in 1st and 2nd place. Even though the Atomic is still the same base recipe as listed above, I think it would be a more evenly matched comparison. You know? That I’d like to see. Perhaps in the RING OF DESTINY??
But WTF do I know?
:fu: :fu: :fu: :fu:
Glad to see you back to your usual self Blane!
Your point is taken, but you also made my point for me.
It would make more sense to compare our Droolin’ Devil Chipotle Sauce to the Cape Fear sauce because they have similar ingredients if I remember correctly.
This: Fresh Red Peppers, Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Salt
compared to this: Water, Sugar, Shallots, Vinegar, Roasted Garlic, Tomatoes, Corn Syrup Solids, Salt, Mustard Seed, Ancho Peppers, Molasses, Cayenne Pepper, Habanero Pepper, Onion, Spices, Natural Flavor, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum doesn’t seem like the sauces would be very comparable in taste and application.
I’m having troubles with my vision as of late, so I need to take a break from the computer for a little while. I will check back in on the Gong show later.
I look forward to more of everyone’s comments.
That’s why I dont like these head to head battles……
DD Chipotle Vs. Short bus? Sounds like a throw down to me! Hehehe!!
I thought you were just chicken?
yep…. cluck cluck cluck….. did youe read my “other” posts?
Not yet, I’ll look at it a little later.
short bus would definitly win. it would get a couple extra points for the label
i completly agree with you ub, the sauces are way diffrent. i said right in my part of the review that dd wins but i could easyly see both bottles kept in the fridge for diffrent meals. i still liked the review though and enjoyed both writing it and reading what others had to say.
We love the
around here. Can’t keep Danny out of it. He uses it on everything. He actually got a bottle of it in his Easter basket.
That was what I was trying to point out when rambling earlier and similar to what Justin was saying most of these “award winning hot sauces” are sweet BBQ sauce with extra sugar and spice.
Love the multi person reviews and like the fun head to head concept, just think the ingredients and suggested uses ought to be similar…UB…big fan of the Garlic Chili Sauce picked up a few bottle at JJ’s last August…only a little left…
Blane…bought a gift for you a few weeks back…we will send when we find it…
In response to why I chose to pair off these two products was of their award winning caliber and the fact that they are both called “Garlic Chili Sauces”. They are not similar in make-up accept for the type of sauce and the garlic ingredient. Beyond that, they are both very good sauces.
Much like we did in the first challenge with the apple concept, this was a garlic chili sauce battle solely. You might want to argue why are these products called “chili sauces” if they are completely different.
I appreciate all the feedback and compliments, and I think for the most part accept for 1 or 2 of you, you do like the battle competition. I very much keep myself and the other reviews away from each other so no one knows who wins until the review is posted. It makes us all read it and the surprise element is there.
The next concept I have in mind should be equally as fun. Feel free to throw in your opinions on a future theme battle. I just want to give other companies a chance in the Ring of Destiny™.
Great job Justin and Hudd, I enjoyed the 3 person judge format much better than the individual one. Thanks.
That’s what I was trying to say in my ramblings Dawg, thanks for making me feel like I’m not losing my mind. That’s not easy to do these days. Justin echoed my sentiments in one of his comments as well, thanks for that.
:nerd:, I’m all for the format and I look forward to getting in the Ring again someday if you’ll have us.
I see where you’re going with that, but again, this matchup was like a pure pugilist taking on a Muay Thai fighter, different rules, different style of delivery, different arsenal to fall back on and a somewhat different audience. That’s a tall order to fill for a five ingredient sauce.
Your point about why are these products called “chili sauces” if they are completely different”, um, let’s see, because they both contain chiles perhaps? That one kind of answers itself.
I’m not dissing the reviewers or the Ring of Destiny format, just the way in which the sauces are matched, that is all.
I’d like to see a wing sauce battle that reflects some real world Fiery Food Awards matchups. Like Defcon VS Cajohn 10 Wing Sauce, or a Big Dawg salsa taking on a a worthy salsa adversary, you get my drift? Same applications, similar ingredients, those would be great battles for TROD.
Thanks for picking our sauce for The Ring, very cool of you to think of us.
Good night everyone, it’s time to rest this weary body.
Exactly DK thanks…The general consumer would most likely not fully understand the difference of these two sauces just by looking only at the name. Further inspection of the ingredients should prove otherwise, but unfortunately there are still many consumers that don’t read past the “name” of a sauce. Also, unless the label states the manufacturers intended use of the sauce, then it’s totally up to the consumer to make a guess at the intended application of the product.
It’s difficult to organize a perfect format for reviews, however I love the multi-review and especially the format of the Battle of the Bottles multi-reviews. While these formats aren’t perfect, they do seem to cover alot of different important points/opinions etc from more than just one reviewer…
The manufacturers comments after a review also adds a tremendous amout of information, that otherwise would not be available to the consumer.
Great comments by everyone. Many really good points are being discussed in a productive way, that will hopefully help us all to become the best that we can be, at what we love to do.
Thank You!
Totally agree Cap’n. It is great to get feedback from the manufacturer. For those who didn’t know that DD is a diabetic friendly hot sauce can take note. They can do their own taste comparison at home and judge for themselves because both sauces are top of the line.
Love the multi-reviewer, hate the head to head, Love you guys, hate everything else.
So I will leave you off the mango B.o.B. and the Scovie Winner Habanero Challenge.
Blane…bought a gift for you a few weeks back…we will send when we find it…
Happy late b-day.
How about a review on the proper way to zip up your pants without catching your frank and beans
That was an April Fools Joke Dumb:moon:. I was testing to see if the good Cap’n would spread the word or not. Of course, some people can’t keep a good secret. :hehe:TC
anyone see the pictures from johnny knoxvilles stunt bike backflip incident that he nearly lost a nut in? it showed a pic of the pants he was wearing and they where soaked in blood.
TC didn’t blab, I did.
Dude, April Fools or not, that was funny. Either way, your gonna be livin’ with that one for a while!
Thanks for making my day with that one yesterday :nerd:. Best April Fools I read anywhere. Although I figured it was a joke, that was obviously Ketchup on your pants.
I knew you blabbed, but I only told TC, so he blabbed to you at least. It all started with him.
I had a bet with a co-worker that I could play a practical joke on them for April Fools Day. I have played so many on her that she said there was no way I could get her. Of course she didn’t tell me she was off that day. I had a plan to get another co-worker involved and tell her that I was bragging that I would get her and it would be so easy. He then told her that he had an idea how to get me if she wanted to be involved. He had to check to see if it would work and he would tell her later on if it did. She agreed.
With the bait set, he then went to her later on with the actual plan. He told her that the manager of the office would give me an incentive award for my work in front of the whole office. It would include a certificate of appreciation and a gift card. Of course, he told her that I would only receive the certificate and an April Fools Day card in the place of the gift card. I would open it in front of the whole office and BOOM, I would look like a big dummy. She loved it and agreed that if he put the pieces together she would love to be involved.
Part 3 was getting the manager behind it, and she printed out the official USPS certificate and signed it with the date. She would make a speech with what I wanted her to say. Unfortunately, I found out that my prey was off April Fool’s Day. So the plan had to be changed. I bought 2 Cards, one she would sign called me a Chump and wishing me a Happy Fools Day, and the other one, identical in every way, accept the inside was my words instead calling her a Sucker!
Part 4, was to leave her a text message and a voice mail a few hours later saying how I would get even for the prank, and she should watch her back the whole day. She came in all confident today, big smile, and I told her she won. Her reward was a bottle of Hot Sauce. So when I said how I was being called a chump by everyone in the office she loved it even more. I said that it was particularly funny what Ronnie(my accomplice) had said in my card. She was curious because she never saw him write anything prior to her own words. So I went back, and retrieved the card, but it was the one I had written. She laughed as she held the card and pointed out the front of it to me, clueless at what lay inside.
Once she opened it, I could see the look of defeat hit her like a ton of bricks. The master had beat her once more. My reward? A bottle of water with a friendly smile every day for a week. The bottle of hot sauce went to my accomplice, Ronnie and he flaunted it in front of her. Priceless.
Hey
Thats the stupidest thing I have every heard
i just had a revolation…
i had grilled chicken with 1/2 “10″ and 1/2 peanut sauce. OMG. delicious.
yes, blane’s back.
Also buddah how about you stay on topic….
Good to have you back Dillweed.
And you want Bacon? Your :bleep:
What was the topic? Oh well, this is good reading anyway.
Hey Csigi makes a honey-habanero sauce. I Wouldn’t mind seeing it go against ours. Kind of apples to oranges, but if we are going on names it qualifies. Waddaya think :nerd:?
