Doing great Blane! Keep it up. I wish I had the umph to join a gym. Well, I do not know where I will be living in July, so joining a gym has to wait.

285 as of this morning. I didnt think I lost anything considering what I ate this week. Although, I only had 4 pieces of pizza instead of 7 or 8 and no wings. I only ate 1 meatball and two spoons of pasta instead of 2 and 4. There was no holding back while tasting The Mild to Wild Chipotle Sauce.

Most Gym memberships are transferrable. Are they going to reassign you to another state?

      My weigh in is 211.2

I want a gym close by new place, so even in the worst of weather I don’t have to travel far. There are a lot of gyms around here, but not every gym is close by. If I joined a gym now and I moved to another town that doesn’t have it, there is no where to transfer it to. Northern VA is large, but some areas here are more rural than others. I might end up in an area like that.

im going back to work so i can start using the gym there again, and i was also told that they will start doing the famailly gym plan also which is where they give us so much money towards a gym membership of our choice so i can also go here in town and work out with my cousin. i quit doing the weight training for this contest so i could just focus on lossing weight and not gaining muscle (weighs more) but i will probably start with the weights again next week. if i win i win and if not at least i will be in shape!

Dude, lean body mass (muscle) burns calories more efficiently. Don’t be afraid to build it. Think of the end game, not just the contest. Congratulations on the fruits of your efforts so far and congratulations to everyone in this contest. No matter loss or gain, you are trying, and you are brave enough to share each weeks results with us!

:nerd: , gym memberships will not make you lose weight. A daily routine will though. Think of 500 hundred calories a day as your target. Don’t think of how to cut those out of your diet. Think of how to actively burn them. Just going for a walk every day is the best way to start. Bicycling is another great way to get things going. Anyway keep trying dude, this contest is one of the best things I have seen in the spicy blogs as of late.

I’m just the opposite Vid. I’m doing good with the diet, but having a little trouble with the working out part. I’ve gotten on the bicycle a few times now, but not as often as I want. To fit it into my schedule I need to wake up earlier in the AM. I love my snooze button, so that’s a hard change for me to make! :???:

Yeah… but I made another mod…I’ve locked the first two columns so you can now scroll the week and still see the starting weights…. Will be important in the next few weeks. BUt I’ll just keep it to myself

Hey Huv, instead of running all 13 weeks straight across, is there anyway to drop weeks 7-13 underneath the first 6 weeks? Look at the chart from week 2 to see what I’m talking about. I do like the % column that you added. Makes it really simple to track. :tu:

I have found that walking on my treadmill with inclines and a little speed, not much 3-3.5 miles per hour, helps me burn between 400-500 calories. I hate it, but it does work. We have also been doing family bike ridees of about 8-10 miles (have a park with a path that connects to other parks in other towns that is 10 miles). I like that much better. But all in all I still find sitting on my fat ass eating something tasty and drinking a cold beer the most enjoyable thing in the world!
