Ingredients: Prepared mustard (distilled vinegar & water, mustard seed, turmeric, spices), Peppers (Jalapeno peppers, water, vinegar, iodized salt and spices, and soybean oil), Honey, Spices, Onion

Have I ever mentioned that I love mustard? Honey Fire Mustard from Shipwrecks Inc. is another fine example of really good mustard. A while back I reviewed Dr. Spence’s Murder Mustard. The Honey Fire Mustard is very similar in color, consistency and heat, yet it adds another dimension of taste with the sweetness of the honey.

My favorite use by far is for snacking. I love the little stick pretzels since they’re very low in fat and calories. Just open the jar and start dipping! Great for sitting in front of the TV although this little combo is highly addictive….bet ya can’t just one!

Now let’s talk about eggs. I used it in my deviled egg recipe and it was great. I gotta tell you it made a huge difference from my standard yellow mustard. Really gave them some sweetness and a little kick.

    Hard-boiled eggs:
    Honey Fire Mustard (to taste)
    Mayonnaise (to taste)
A cap of red wine vinegar
    Salt and pepper

It’s also very good just by itself on a hard-boiled egg.

There are obviously thousands of applications for this mustard such as a glaze for chicken. I was entertaining and a friend suggested that we take some chicken breasts which had been previously boiled, place them in a frying pan with some water and coat them with the Honey Fire Mustard. I didn’t get a photo, but I can tell you they were spectacular.

Overall, I’d give this product an 8/10. The flavor is great, the sweetness is just right and the hardcore chili head will enjoy it as well as your average person.

Hunley, the first submarine to sink an enemy warship. In addition to trying his Honey Fire Mustard, we also encourage you to check out his Wikipedia page for more info on his “day job”. :dtu:
