darn. nice one DK.
150? what does that mean?
BUDDAH BUDDAH BUDDAH, WHAT ARE WE GUNNA DO WITH YOU?
First off who gave Generallee permission to issue timeouts? You do realize this is a hot sauce site, not a fruit and vegetable one!!!!
Sorry Ed but I’m selling my reserves for $9 choice or $59.99 for 10…. Except for SB related items those sell for several Thousands.
I need to catch up on the thread, be back later.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks. We will get a thread up soon hopefully on the details and send out emails on people attending.
Can someone shoot me Ethans addy so I can see if he’s coming (He mentioned a friend also) And I need to see if
plans on attending.
Holy Crap! I can’t beleive I just read all of that! Parker, she doesn’t sound like Racheal Ray, Racheal is a total dork. Not to say I don’t watch her show (the Food Network not Talk show).
food network rocks. and so does the weather channel.
Blane, you got mail.
Hey Sam! LOL!! At least most of it’s family friendly for a change!
At least I hope so, I skipped over some of it myself.
So who’s Rachael Ray?
Blane I don’t want to travel alone, but I will do it anyway, I just gotta go. I am still waiting on my friend, should hear back in a day or two. Then I will confirm with ya.
Rachel Ray is a hottie cook who likes sports and hanging with the guys. Love girls in uniform. Staying on topic.
Alright :nerd:… ;-) You will have a blast. We will mark you down for one for now. Plenty of room for your friend also.
Sooooo Rachael Ray is a hottie dork?
she would be so much hotter if she was a mute and 15 lbs thinner.
Hey we are way out on the west coast. Would anyone be interested in a hot sauce show out here? Vending or attending? Say Portland, OR.? Seattle is my backyard but Portland seems more viable. Opinions please. We could probably find a micro-brewery to sponsor. Just an idea, at this point.
Blane, I may have a friend coming also. I probably won’t know until that Friday though. He may have to drive up Saturday on his own. I’ll let ya know as soon as I know for sure.
EXACTLY!
Oops, exactly hottie dork cook that could lose 15 lbs!
man, catching up on this takes forever! you just cant leave for a couple hours!
can you name 12 people that you think would attend from your neck of the woods?
the northwest isnt famous for anything hot is it? do people eat peppers out there. thought it was just taters and salmon.
Big Show, you still here?
chiliheaded,
you can leave for a couple hours. wont hurt my feelings. LOL
Man, I just came back!
ok, stick around but dont say anything stupid like DK does ;-)
Who is this ChileHeadFred trying to sell reserves for 10 bucks?
If I can’t say something stupid, then I am outta here…whats the point!
LOL!
Yea, I know who Rachael Ray is, I’m just pickin’ on :nerd:! He never gets the winks. LOL!
Sam, FMK isn’t a hot sauce show, more like a family reunion gathering of chileheads at CaJohn’s cabin in TN. As for a show, I for one wouldn’t make it to Cali, but I know Parker’s stated before that he wished there were shows closer to him so he wouldn’t have to worry about air fare so much. He’s in Cali. So I would imagine there’s a need for it out there. Definately something to look at.
dont know. are they handpainted that looks like a sunset?
general, bigshow left, you got him in trouble gettin this thread off topic.
Ok ladies, speakin’ of off topic. I gotta close the shop and hit the road. See you gals later!
Goin’ home to sign bottles.
L8R G8R’s!
Until I can win the lottery, my airflights are kept to a minimum. It is tough to do the FF in Albuddahquerque, but I gots to go. I would love to visit Seattle some day, especially if it involved free hot sauce, but not in the near future. Good idea though Sam.
Well vendor wise I can name 4 for sure. Branding Iron(EZ Earl), Danielles Sauces, Frawg and Turtle, and Zane and Zack’s. We all took home Golden Chiles in the Fiery Foods Challenge. Earl is from Renton (same city we live in), Frawg n Turtle are in Everett (a little farther north), and Danielles is in Portland they took to Golden Chiles. I imagine we could attract some from Cali and Scotty B’s is in Idaho. Just trying to see what the people who matter think.
bye Willy.
sign bottles? hmmm
Maybe UB could make that one too since its close to Canada. Maybe he can sneak across the border undetected.
You know they had a tunnel from B.C. to WA., but they got busted.
Gotta keep those damn Canucks outta here. :P
i havent met him but i think that canuck seems like a cool guy. good story teller. kinda like you buddah, but he knows when to shut up.
DK, I heard bout FMK and it sounds like hell of a good time. I was talking to the editor of NW Beer Magazine at the farmer’s market we do every Sunday and she was very enthusiastic about an event on the west coast.
i can see the beer thing but not the hot sauce thing in the northwest. just my two cents.
What is it? There seems to be a stigma about hot sauce from the NW. We had a guy @ ZF that was gonna sample our product turn around and stomp off muttering how we only do coffee and don’t know anything about hot sauce? Did I mention after that we won Peoples Preference for Best Hot Sauce and Best in Show? I wish I would’ve seen that guy again.
my boss is from portland and spent many a years in the NW. he says there is no such knowledge bout hot sauce there. just going by his word and the coffe salmon thang.
try not to get so offended. the NW is a place that i would very much like to travel to like
said.
i just dont think hot sauce show would draw many a folk like it does in pepper states of tx and nm.
It’s cool, I’m not offended just no repect like my Seahawks. Anyone want to wager on this weeks game?
And coffee’s a bad thing? LOL!! Just sunds like that guy had a personal problem1 LOL! Hell, I always mentally pictured the southwest area to be the central area, but some of the top stuff comes outta Jersey! Go figure! LOL! It’s not a regional thing that’s for sure. I’ve only been to Cali once in my life, so I don’t know much about that area, but from the people I know out there it’s definately a food mecca. I see no reason to not have a west coast show. Only negative to me would be attracting the East Coast crowd like myself. I’m in SC. NM was a lot of fun, but it’s just too far for me, so I’m skipping it next year. Cali would be that much worse. It’s the travel time for me that ruins it.
not me
parker, why dont you get something going down your neck of the woods?
DK I already told you I’d catch the airfare and you have a free place to stay.
Try using another excuse :-P
Who says I don’t have something going ;-)
