    Will Work for Hot Sauce!!

    By admin | February 13, 2008 |

What does a hot sauce manufacturer do when he goes to the Fiery Foods show and doesn’t have a booth? Well Sam from Zane & Zack’s World Famous Honey Co came up with a great idea! Here’s how he will be spending his time at the upcoming Fiery Foods show in New Mexico.

In a depresssed economy, what’s a poor chilehead to do? I say get out there and work the public! Since I don’t have a booth of my own for the upcoming Fiery Foods Show, I figured I would offer up my services. My salary requirements are rather simple, a jar of salsa or bottle of hot sauce and a beer per hour worked, and a t-shirt from my employer. What do ya say?

    samttf.jpg

Well, at this time it looks like Big Dawg has taken notice to my plight and we will probably be doing a little work with them!

    See you all in NM!!!

Betcha get caught lickin the bowl!

    Sam

I feel your pain Sam. It gets pretty expensive trying to hit all of these events or even one for that matter but I guess you have to pay to play. I liked your Ninja Marketing tactics though. And you say I’m the marketing genius.

Hey DK! Sounds like the weekend was a gooder.
There’s nothing at all wrong with one man having warm feelings towards another. As long as the warm feeling is above the belly button!

Yep, it’s all good here UB. Still whooped from the roadtrip, but I’m feeling better by the hour.

Had a blast this past weekend. The format CaJohn used for the wing contest kicked ass. :tu: Not just mine either.

It’s the same format we’ve used for the Trial By Fire, only three rounds of increasing heat though.
We only go through 15 wings in total though. It sounds like you have to suck down a lot of poultry with John’s format.
Great minds think alike I guess.
First the “killer” thing, now the wing competition. What next, me wearing a shirt and pants with peppers on them?

I ate 12 wings in the four rounds I completed. The wings were HUGE!!!

Uncle BigJohn’s, hmmmm, you may be on to something there UB! Lot’s of label possibilities there too!

I heard. Tera dactyl wings huh? I hope they weren’t breaded. That makes it even worse.

Ask some of your US Navy buddies (if you have any) about our military, they’ll tell you that we’re for real.
I have lots of military friends overseas lending your country a hand right now. Don’t start shit like that :nerd:, I’m not in the mood.

Late night diaper changes tiring you out UB? You got to learn to roll with the American sense of humor. We actually smile here. Is that frozen from the weather? Time to move HQ to a warmer climate. I am sure we have room for another immigrant. Imagine good pepper growing weather. Imagine the lack of glaciers and polar bears. Imagine cheaper bacon. You don’t drink, so you don’t need the good Canadian brewskis, so what else do you have there that would keep you frozen in place? Time to think about crossing the border and coming to the promised land. You will love being able to go outside and see green in the winter and be able to enjoy the land of opportunity.

Funny thing, Lorien and I have discussed moving down south.
AZ seems to have a tonne of cheap houses for some reason (general live there), can’t quite figure that out (general lives there), perhaps someone could fill us in on that.
I’m the happiest guy you’ll ever meet. I’ve smiled at least three times today, that’s not bad considering the cold and the lack of sleep, et all.
I just went to a funeral late last year for a high school buddy of mine that lost his life overseas thanks to the war on terrorism. I’m a little touchy, that’s all.
